The working-class is about being proud of who you are, where you come from, and working to get the things you deserve in life, be traditional and be proud! If you are not true to yourself you are not going to be true to anyone that looks upon you. You cannot shape my integrity by trying to dictate my beliefs. I stand firm in my convictions and will not be swayed.
History lesson
When the Jamaican culture first introduced the term skinhead, It was the flux of Jamaican immigrants that brought their culture, which at the time intermingled the early Rude Boy sounds and styles too. When it hit England the middle-class youth identified with it and at the time there was a huge clash between the government and the wealthy class and the working class. As far back as the late 50s and early 60s before coming to England, black Jamaican artists were singing about skinheads. The SkinHead culture grew out of that in the mid-60s. So I guess it depends on who you ask. Some Jamaican artists and artists from West Indies lay claim to giving birth to the term skinhead. Either way, the Traditional skinheads owe a lot to that culture. Then of course came Oi later. You gotta respect both in my personal opinion.
